An advanced diabetic foot care nurse will do a full assessment of your feet to check for any loss of sensation, circulation and any other suspicious lesions or skin discolouration and refer you the proper specialist.
The visits are not covered by OHIP but they are covered by your insurance up to a certain amount with or without referral from your doctor for a foot care nurse. Read your insurance policy for details . We give receipts so you can send it with your claim to your insurance company. We are registered with Blue Cross, Veteran's affairs, Green Shield, Empire Life, and SSQ.
